Welcome back to the last Friend Friday of this year with our friends at Hero Arts, we have had so much fun hopping along with them over the last few weeks. Hero Arts make such a great range of stamps, dies and accessories it has been a breeze to create projects with them.
Today Cathy shows how you can use the Branch Wreath Fancy die from the Christmas release to create a thank you card that is suitable for any time of year. The shells and netting have been colored using just two Chameleon pens, we love how the gradation in color on the shells gives them more shape!
Did you know that our friends in the Ukraine and Russia don’t celebrate Christmas until the 7th January, as part of the Orthodox Christmas? So with this in mind we have a Christmas card from our Russian designer Olesya.
We asked Olesya what inspired her to create this design, she said “Winter Time Fun set by hero Arts is meant to create funny scenes. I wanted to create my own with these cute forest critters looking at the raccoon to trim the tree in a proper way :)”.
Although it is our last Friday with Hero Arts you still have the opportunity to enter our competition to try our pens too, so why not have a go and enter today, we will put your name in our Chameleon Santa Hat and draw a winner for a 5 pack of Chameleon Pens of your choice, but as it is Christmas our friends at Hero Arts have given us the Color Layering Sea Horse Bundle to give away too, so we will pick a second name out of Santa’s hat to win this prize too! To enter leave a comment at the end of this post and sign up to join our creative community (it’s free to join), the draw will close at midnight GMT on the 1st January 2017. The winner will be announced on our blog when we have a Winner Wednesday post.
Now how about we get hopping with our friends at Hero Arts and our designer Olesya that couldn’t resist creating a few more projects for you! Just click on their name below to be taken to their blog. Thanks for joining us over these last few weeks.
Here is a sneak peek of Olesya’s extra project on her blog so do stop by and say hi!
