Spring Cards with Linda

We are so excited to introduce one of our featured artists today, the lovely Linda Lucas

We asked Linda to share a little bit about herself and also some of her amazing projects with us here on the blog and this is what she had to say.

“I have always loved to colour in, in one form or another. As a child it was crayons and paints, along with coloured pencils and pens – I won my first colouring competition at 10 years old and still have the book I won. I love playing with new products, especially when they are as amazing as these wonderful Chameleon Pens. I have not stopped colouring since I got them. Each time I use them it just gets better and better, the light and shade that can be achieved is fabulous – and who doesn’t love that!

I predominantly create cards, which sell at a local shop, but also love to Scrapbook when the opportunity arises and also try my hand at mixed media – there are so many avenues to explore but there never seems to be enough time – I am sure you know what I mean! I am very grateful for the creative opportunities I have been given, having had work published in a number of magazines and books. At the moment I am on several Design Teams and am also an International Ambassador for Spellbinders Paper Arts and love it – the ever increasing and innovative products keep me growing in my art – something that I love – the day I stop enjoying it is the day I finish. I hope that you are inspired in some way by what I create and share from the heart.” if you would like to see more of Linda’s creations, hop on over to her blog here.

Linda is in Australia so as spring is in full swing there she has created this stunning birthday card for the season.

Thank you so much ladies for your comments. As you can see you can achieve such diverse shading with just two pens and I have to add very quickly – I am a total convert! 😀

That’s what caught my eye too. TWO pens? I would have expected to be told it was done with two SETS of pens! Amazing how you achieved soft and vivid effects and everything in between with just two pens!
