Day 6 of The Avery Elle ~ Chameleon Blog Hop

The lovely Isha joins us today with some more Elephant goodness using the Ellie Stamp set from Avery Elle.

Materials used: 
Chameleon Color Tones Pens Deluxe Set; Seville Orange (OR4), Spring Meadow (YG3), Cool Gray (CG8), Royal Blue (BL6), Aqua Marine (BG4); Avery Elle Ellie stamp; You’re Invited die; Patterned Paper: The Neutral Collection; Memento Tuxedo Black and Bamboo Leaves ink; Neenah White Cardstock; Rubbing Alcohol to create the background; Glossy Accents.

Isha_AE_Card_1aInstructions:

1) Stamp image using Memento black onto Neenah cardstock.

2) Start coloring the image using the brush nib. Color the elephant using Cool Gray keeping the infusion time to 5-15 seconds depending on the area.

3) Make some dots onto the darker areas and then go over the entire image as in step 1.

4)Onto a scrap piece of acetate, scribble a bit of Royal Blue, Spring Meadow, spritz some rubbing alcohol over it and then put a piece of cardstock. This will create a wonderful background.

5)Die-cut the mat layer using the die.

6) Stamp and color some balloons using Seville Orange, Aqua Marine, Royal Blue, using the brush tip and keeping the infusion time to 8 seconds. Now stamp stars onto it and apply some white gel pen inside the stars.

7) Adhere patterned paper to the card base and then adhere the background paper onto it. Stamp sentiment, grass and ladybug. Adhere the die-cut window mat layer.

8) Adhere the elephant and balloons. To finish add some glossy accent to the balloons.

 Chameleon Color Tones Pens Deluxe Set; Spring Meadow (YG3), Cool Gray (CG8), Bubble Gum (PK3), Purple Grape (PR4), Sky Blue (BL3); Avery Elle Ellie stamp; You’re Invited die; The Brights Collection patterned paper; Ink: Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko (Memento Tuxedo Black, Bamboo Leaves, Pear Tart); Cardstock: Neenah White

1) Stamp image using Memento black onto the die-cut Neenah cardstock.

2) Start coloring the image using the brush nib. Color the elephant using Cool Gray keeping the infusion time to 5-15 seconds depending on the area.

3) Make some dots onto the darker areas and then go over the entire image as in step 1.
Stamp the grass. Stamp flowers using Pear Tart ink and color using Purple Grape, Bubble Gum Markers and Hot Cocoa.

4) Stamp the bunny and color it using Fawn marker. Use the brush tip and keep the infusion time to 2 seconds.
Go around the image using Sky Blue marker and blend it using Colorless Blender to create the feel of sky. Color in the grass using Spring Meadow.

5) Adhere the die-cut to the patterned paper and adhere this panel to the card base. To finish adhere some twine.

    I LOVE that Background!!! Have to try that one right away!! And that little bunny on the elephant trunk can’t get any more adorable! I love how the Chameleon Pens shade and bring dimension to the stamps.
