Monika Kuriata has used this set to create this lovely autumnal design.

5.Finishing mandalas with Red Coral and Vermilion

By Monika Kuriata

We asked Monika what inspired her to create this project this is what she said “I love mandalas, I really do!!! So in my projects I use mandalas very often… For Warm Chameleon Colors I decided to make something Autumn related with mandalas of course. The Autumn Maple leaves and mandalas match perfectly with beautiful Warm Tones. Beautiful intricate drawing with simple coloring technique…to proof that anyone can make a beautiful image :)”

Ekaterina has chosen to highlight the richness of the red tones in this pretty card.

We asked Ekaterina what inspired her to create this card and she said “the nature surrounding us is the best inspiration for me. Especially I am inspired always by flowers.”

By Ilina Crouse

Ilina said “I found it very challenging to use the warm tones as stand alone colors without any green or blue. Then I saw this Paisley and Posies set and reminded me of fall, as well as the warm tones. In order to soften the colors a bit, I colored on vellum (on the back side) to get the soft look. ”

We will be back on Friday with more inspiration with our Friends From Altenew, so don’t forget to pop by!
