Hero Hostess Reunion Hop 2016

Hi and welcome to the Chameleon blog, featuring the Hero Arts Hostess Hop, with fabulous stamps from the new 2016 release and winter catalogue! you should of arrived here from Deborah Nolan‘s Blog.

Some of you may know that one of our design team used to be a Hero Arts Hostess, so when she was invited to take part in a reunion hop  she couldn’t resist sharing it with all our Chameleon readers.

Hero Arts are makers of high quality stamps and die products and have just introduced their Christmas range, which can be seen here.

For this hop our hostess decided to mix the old with the new by creating projects with the new winter collection and also some projects using vintage throw back stamps from around the time she was a hostess.  The projects have been created for all levels of crafter so hopefully there will be something for everyone and if you make it to the end of this post we have a prize up for grabs too!

For the Beginner crafter this lovely northern lights inspired card was created using the Winter Tree Scene stamp and the sentiment from the Vintage Wishes stamp set .

You can see how this project was created by watching our video or downloading the free northern lights winter scene instructions here.

Now for a bit of vintage Hero this cute Young Deer stamp D5234 was used to create a mini card/gift tag along with the Frames CL028 and Jolly Christmas stamp sets CL232.

You can see how easy this was to color using just the one Caramel Chameleon Pen by watching the video, YES YOU READ IT RIGHT – JUST ONE PEN!!!

Now back to this year, there are so many lovely stamps in the Vintage Wishes stamp set we couldn’t resist sharing more designs, these are for the intermediate or advanced crafter.

You can see how this image was colored by downloading the free snowman tag instructions here.

Finally one more vintage throwback using the Dogwood S5362 stamp this time showing how you can combine two opposite colors of pens and get great smooth blends.

We just love how easy it is to blend colors together with the Chameleon pen system!
