National Craft Month Inspiration

Olesya joins us today to share some floral inspiration with this beautiful design.

By Olesya Kharkova

We asked Olesya how she got into crafting, this is what she said “When I was studying at University I saw my friend made a wedding card with her own illustrations. It was made with non crafty materials but seemed a masterpiece to me, as I had been searching for my crafty path for a long time. Almost 6 months I was reading articles about cardmaking and watching video tutorials by famous crafters. My first steps were shy and awkward. The very first card was made with napkin roses and watercolor paints for my Mom. It seemed flawless 🙂 I have a picture of one of the first cards ( the picture was made that time) 🙂

As for my new card, I made it to inspire my friend to craft on. The sentiment can be translated as Sending Inspirational Vibes.”

Here is Olesya’s first ever card, you can see straight away she had a craft talent just waiting to bloom!
