St Patricks Day

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, did you know that all over the world the Irish and Irish at heart celebrate this day with parties, wearing green and even eating green food!  We asked Leah to create a card to celebrate this special day.

By Leah Cornelius

St Patrick’s Day is a global celebration of Irish culture on or around March 17. It particularly remembers St Patrick, one of Ireland’s patron saints, who ministered Christianity in Ireland during the fifth century. The shamrock on Leah’s card is the leaf of the clover plant and a symbol of the Holy Trinity.

Leah said “St. Patrick’s Day is a fun holiday but I realized I didn’t have any St. Patty’s day themed stamps. So using the simple shape of a heart and white cardstock, two tones of green from the Chameleon pens deluxe set I was all set for making a sweet little St. Patrick’s Day card. I love the two greens and how easy it is to get the soft blended look on my lucky four leaf clover.”

If you would like to recreate Leah’s Four Leaf Clover Card you can download the instructions here.

Are you celebrating St Patrick’s day today?  We would love to hear what you are doing!

What a cute card! My granddaughter who is 4 learned about St. Patrick’s Day at school this week and is totally heartbroken that her Daddy and Bumpah don’t have the day off so she can spend time with them celebrating this special day! She is dressed in green from head to toe and even had green eggs and green yogurt for breakfast! Next on the green foods menu is green mac and cheese for lunch!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all my Chameleon friends! TFS!
