Friend Friday continues with CAS-ual Fridays

Today Ilina and Tanya join us to share some Casual Friday and Chameleon goodness, but when we first saw Ilina’s project we thought she had finally lost the plot with it being summer and her card being Christmas themed…but scroll below to see her very cool explanation for such craziness!

By Ilina Crouse

Ilina said “While we are in the heat of summer, I often like to “cool” off with  some Christmas (winter) cards. It kind of helps me to forget for a little bit how hot it is outside (If you live in the South East US, you know how hot it can get). And as well that helps me, with jump starting my Christmas cards, so I am not in a pinch when the Holidays come around. So, cool off with me during the heat of summer and this Partridge in Pear tree card using some amazing CAS-Fridays stamps.”

Now if you want to cool off and make some Christmas cards you can download the instructions to  the Partridge in a Pear Tree Card  here .

Now how about something completely different?  Tanya has used her Casual Friday supplies to create this stunning scrapbook page.

Ilina’s Christmas in July card is not only a brilliant idea for getting ahead, but talk about a lovely design! Her colouring elevates the pretty images to absolutely gorgeous! Whoever the lucky person is on the receiving end is certainly to be thrilled! Tanya’s layout is ever so lovely with the flowers, background and smile sentiment as perfect accompaniments to the sweet photos! Both projects are delightfully inspiring!

    Great layout.
Love the winter card. it is refreshing after
100 degrees days. Time to start
thinking about them anyway – takes
awhile to decide on the final
    Christmas card.
    thanks for sharing.
