By Cathy Andronicou

This was so easy to create, you can see how here.

Next Cathy shows you how you can use Chameleon Color Tone Pencils to add shading to stamped leaves from the Altenew Parrot Paradise Stamp set and how to get an ombre effect on the sentiment using Chameleon Color Tone Pens and Color Tops along with the Totally Tropical Die set.

Now watch how easy it is to create that great Ombre effect!

Alternatively you can download the Aloha Card instructions here.

Finally Cathy shows how you can combine Chameleon Color Tone Pencils and Pens to blend together on the flowers from Altenew’s Happy Bloom Stamp and Die set.

Beautiful cards! The colours are so rich and vibrant. The combination of the colour tone pencils and pens blend together so nicely. The flowers are gorgeous on that last card. The parrot is also coloured so beautifully. Thanks for the videos and step by step instructions too!

Okay, I am in love with the cards you posted on here. First of all, I don’t own a die cutter so I can drool over your card with the leaves but I can’t make one. Oh Boo Hoo! LOL I love all the colors, especially my favorite color in the whole wide world, yellow. What a great card!
I love all the colors on your parrot card and how you variegated some of the colors, especially the leaves. This one is also very colorful.
The last card is my fave because it has flowers and it’s mostly yellow. Score! The couple who owned our house before we moved in loved flowers. The wife planted lots of them. However, we have had mutant ninja squirrels in our yard the past 4 years or so and we don’t have those flowers anymore. That’s what I love about coloring and stamping. I can stamp all the flowers I want and those mutant ninja squirrels can’t do anything to them!
Thanks for showing us your colorful cards and for giving us the chance to win something! I already know what I want when I win and those pens you are giving as an extra, I so totally want those. Pretty please with sugar on top? LOL

Good luck with the prize draw and we are so glad you have a way to still enjoy yellow flowers without those pesky ninja squirrels!

Such beautiful effects. I have to say…I never saw the need for the ink sprays until I saw the second card! I love how it looks behind the leaves and how it compliments the entire composition. And I could not believe how simple the coloring looked for the first one, especially after I stared at it a while before watching the video! Thanks so much. I have two Chameleon pens that were parts of card kit subscriptions, so I haven’t gotten to play with them this way. I am intrigued by the new color tops.
