Spring Is In The Air

Spring is in the air, we can hear it outside the Chameleon Offices, birds are singing and getting ready for the warmer months ahead. We asked Olesya to use our tweeting friends as inspiration for a spring card and this is what she created, we love all the texture on the bird’s body, they really look like real feathers!

By Olesya Kharkova

We asked Olesya what made her think of spring most, she said “My Spring is associated with light green leaves, pale blossoms and twittering birds. The Chameleon pens highlighted this beauty at their best.”

If you would like to recreate Olesya’s Spring Hello card you can download the instructions here.

St Patrick’s Day

To celebrate all things Irish today we have a St Patrick’s Day bookmark, complete with lucky shamrock!

By Jessica Sanders

Jessica said “For St Patrick’s Day, I want to make a simple project that parents can enjoy creating with their children.  The parents and children can color together, and the parent can do any challenging parts.  The result will be fun family time and a cute bookmark!”

Mother’s Day

Did you know that here in the United Kingdom we celebrate Mother’s Day in spring?  Mother’s Day officially falls on the 11th March this year and we wanted to share some inspiration for making those special cards to let Mums all over the U.K. know how much they are appreciated.

Ilina has created a beautiful floral card with a modern sentiment.

By Ilina Crouse

We love how bold the coloring is and if you watch the video you can see how to use black embossing powder without smudging occurring when coloring with alcohol pens!

Spring Layout

Hello we are back today with a gorgeous spring layout, which means flowers and babies.

By Tracy McLennon

Tracy said “When I think Spring, I think flowers. I was inspired to color all of these super cute floral images from a mini coloring book and create my floral cluster with a rainbow of colors.”

We love how colorful this page is and so easy to achieve with Chameleon Color Tops!

If you would like to see how to create this Spring Layout you can download the instructions here.

Spring Tulip Layout

What does spring bring to mind for you?  For our designer Tanya it is Tulips; She has used this iconic flower as her main focus for this beautiful spring layout.

By Tanya Batrak

Tanya has used her Chameleon 52 pen set to create this focal bouquet, you can find all the colors she has used in her free Spring Tulip Layout instructions here.

Spring Gift Tags

Spring will soon be here and we will begin to see flowers blossom and birds sing, it is so lovely to see color return to the garden and make the world look brighter again! To celebrate one of our favourite seasons we have created some spring themed projects, today we are sharing spring gift tags, that also work well on cards.

By Sandra Kustić Uzur

Sandra said “I can’t get enough of flowers and this is the reason of today’s tag cards. They are
so versatile. You can add them to the white or black backgrounds and they allways looks wonderful. With Chameleon Pens you can get every time the right blend of colors with almost no effort at all.”

Sandra had so much fun creating this tag that she couldn’t resist making another!

By Monica Maldarella

As you can see inside is the wishing pig, and what is he wishing for….a cupcake no less!

Monica said “I always found pigs funny. Maybe because they are fat, pink and chubby! And I think they are perfect for a funny birthday card.”

Well this little guy will certainly bring a smile to your face, if you would like to see how this card was created you can download the Wish Pig Card instructions here.
