Now with halloween approaching many of us crafters are busy creating treats for the occasion, after all wouldn’t you rather have a treat than trick? The fabulous Judi Kauffman has been busy making some treats to share with us today.
So let us bring you this fabulous spooky fact for today, that all the orange you see in the border around the spider, in the candy corn, on the pumpkin and on the witch’s hair was all the same Seville Orange pen!
As Judi Kauffman would say “It’s no trick! Chameleon Pens and vinyl outline peel-offs were made for each other”..Yep she is right they are great the slightly raised lines make it easy to stay within the sections so coloring is a snap and we really love the quality of the Elizabeth Craft designs Peeloffs! The blends are so smooth – light to dark tones with one pen in a matter of seconds. It‘s such a treat to see the projects come to life!
Judi has created a smorgasbord full of halloween treats for us and if you would like to try and re-create you can download the full instructions and some extra tips and inspiration you can download this worksheet.
Aren’t these just fab, the pencil toppers make a great treat for children and adults alike. But wait there is more, once Judi got started we just couldn’t stop her… Cards, toppers and even a halloween home decor hanging, there is no end to Judi’s talent.
To create these fabulous projects, Judi used:
Purple Grape, Seville Orange, Cool Grey, Summer Sun, Warm Sunset, Spring Green, Deep Black, Aquamarine, Olive Green and Bark Chameleon Color Tone Pens,Elizabeth Craft Designs #2585 Halloween in Frame outline peel-offs in Black by Judi Kauffman (also available in Gold and Silver – specify color when ordering; www.ecraftdesigns.com),WorldWin Papers ColorMates Smooth & Silky 90# cardstock in White, Pencils, tape, foam tape or dots, fine point scissors, solid color cardstock, 8mm Lure Eye stickers (Stanislaus Imports, www.lasioux.com), patterned papers (An Eerie Tale Collection from Graphic 45).
My personal favourite is the wall hanging, this would be spookily spectacular to hang on my door for halloween, what is your favourite we would love to hear?
